I've only been in a Tesla a few times and EVERY time the "autopilot" tried to kill us.
He keeps drawing the same wrong conclusion saying that the roads and driving are designed around vision.

That is just the only sensory system that humans are equipped with to sense the world at a distance. (also hearing).

Optical illusions happen ALL the time. Check with the aviation community of that one. It kills a LOT of people.

Wondering if memory is an important factor to add with vision and neural nets in order to trust FSD 100% all cases…
Having no memory, is FSD essentially entering a particularly challenging intersection or idiosyncratic situation for the very first time, every time it encounters it, with a prime directive of just don't hit anything?
If so, perhaps that is why it frequently drives as a beginner might by suddenly braking, hesitating, choosing the wrong speed, or choosing the wrong positioning, etc. in seemingly simple environments. Yet, it also does surprisingly well in many areas I thought it would falter.
Perhaps a special light signalling surrounding drivers that FSD is active would help reduce their bewilderments until it's fully functional.

Think latest developments hit Tesla harder than other automotive as all oil is bashing the company and mainly attacking Elon. Well knowing that he is the one that stands for SYNERGY as no other actually on earth. He is the one in fact that makes America Great Again and not the 🤡 who claims for! No other US Car ever had that SUCCESS around the planet in a class far away from a 💩 Toyota Corolla and with a new technology lowering TCO dramatically which no ICE depending on repair parts costing often 30 times of sourcing to make money can even dream from. 65% of owners have no idea what their cars cost. Only EV brought what was promised by the liars for 40 years telling of 2-LITRES-CARS (per 100 km/60 miles). Ours consume actually around 16,5 kWh per 100 km and we also have PV which are already amortized! That is a little less than 2 litres of petrol and keep in mind with a big CT it’s also less any Corolla consumes🤔 So hope the best for my shares. Think future actually at the forefront of WWIII is not a low cost mass product now but later. Tesla should concentrate on upper class still having sufficient money available for cars, margins and software. Same as others Tesla must concentrate on achievers and clean out those just working for money to pay the rent! FSD at the actual level is far away from what others technically can even with Lidar on board!

I finally bought a used model 3 in red last week. Been wanting this car for many years and still pinching myself that I finally have it. Absolutely amazing car, awesome products that you guys are creating and cant wait to see whats in store for future!
