I’m good I I’m excited for today man it’s going to be a great day the sun is shining frh from fresh from uh Dublin I’m ready to go man I’m like I’ve heard people saying that 880,000 people are probably going to be attending which is nauseating nauseating yeah if it makes me feel a little bit ill I’m not going to lie but very very excited really yeah yeah but it’s going to be challenging yeah man I mean I just performed to a crowd of 25,000 people in Dublin and then I’ve spent the last two weeks recovering from a vocal injury so it’s like I’ve had a bit of a weird 3 weeks you know straight out of vocal injury to 25,000 to 80,000 but I I mean I’m so glad that I got myself better ready for today rocking Mar is a huge gig uh one that I have had sort of in my mind in the future so I’m I’m happy to be here and to be playing such an amazing Festival yeah and we’re lucky to have you um thank you I read in an interview that uh your sister signed you up in a karaoke contest uh and uh then you went and you you sang uh last request from patini yes I did yeah you’ve done your research I done a little bit of like it I like it I like it it’s one of my favorite songs to sing in uh in karaoke also oh it is I mean it’s what an absolute gorgeous song kuna song you know can you have a sing a little bit uh let me try and remember the lyric grab my last request and just let me hold you don’t shrug your shoulders lay down beside me see there you go great song great song and you sound great as well yeah thank you um I read that you you you said that your some of of your songs are um uh a little more uh bloomy more uh a little bit more somber yeah yeah yeah yeah and and um and you said you deserve to be happy are you happy yes happier than I’ve ever been yeah yeah I just feel more content in my life I feel more confident I know what I want to do I know who I want to be and I feel like I’m making music that is reaching people all around the world I mean numbers don’t lie I’ve just had my third song reach over a billion streams on Spotify which is just crazy you know and I’m I’m playing shows that sh and I’ve just had a song in the Garfield Hollywood movie like I I’m pinching myself all the time but I believe myself a bit more now you know so I’m just I’m just excited to just keep M making music keep on touring the world keep on speaking to people like you about my music and just enjoy what is a dream come true today you’re you’re playing um this love by Maroon 5 I I I saw that the the do you like uh you did Dancing On My Own and do you like covering others artists and uh just bring your feel to to to that song yeah I mean that’s how I got into music was covering other people’s music so I’ve never really been precious about oh it’s got to be my own song you know when we put out Dancing On My Own It was never supposed to do what it did um and so I’ve I’ve come into the industry that way like I said I was in the Maron five tribute band so that’s H but what’s funny is uh I remember when we were when I was trying to study Adam lavine’s voice I watched him play Rocking R and that was where I sort of found the little nuances he does in his voice and so I’m very familiar with Rocking R I I love it and I’ve been I I ever since I saw m five play that stage I’m like it’ be amazing to do that one day and here I am yeah it’s a full circle it’s a full circle moment yeah perfect perfect hope everything goes well tonight thank you very much
