that engine must have more than the stock rated torque its a torque monster even whit that Terrible Gearbox that' must be the slowest shifting automatic I have ever seen.

Most Corvette autos were slushboxes until late C7 and the C8 DCT.
very long gear ratios in the 4 speed automatic… if it were a 6 speed it would be the most responsive
