Does it have kernel level access? To brick everything to a level, even owners can't fix?
I'm so glad Mercades-AMG included a medical light to report the driver may have had a 'bit of a incident'. It would have helped, so much at Romain Grosjean's 60+ g crash. There is no way any of the track marshals would have known he had a significant emotional event after a minor fender bender. FFS, beyond useless. Thanks for playing though AMG. I want to award you a 0 out of 10, thanks for playing!
I could do without the background music, which spoils the video. Thumbs down.
Remember that time Crowdstrike lost billions because their service wasn't safe nor secure? Makes me wonder what the first F1 battery fire will look like. How safe and secure is the driver, really? I've seen hybrids burn.. this will be worse than a 1950's F1 fire
Motorsport vehicles: More than 75 years to develop electric options. Cars can only carry one person. Max speed to date; ~225mph. 🏎💨⛽
French high-speed trains: Have been completely electric since their introduction. Can carry over 2,000 persons with baggage and all being seated in spacious comfort. Max speed to date; 358mph … 🏆🏁🚄🇫🇷💯💨💨💨🏎😉
Please bring back the V10s.
Thx cam
Just don't do any updates and all will be safe
Very informative, didn't know about the impact G light. Wish they'd touch on the "ERS dismount" drivers have to do if the light flashes red. The drivers have to jump off the car as to not risk creating an electrical bridge between car and ground and thus getting shocked
This series is fascinating. There are so many functional details on the cars that are easy to miss when we're just watching them drive, so I really appreciate that you give us all a chance to look deeper.
Next time on Crowdstrike: How an F1 car bluescreens due to a driver issue.
Ah yes, Crowdstrike, absolutely abysmal to work with software that bricked half the planet… Yeah nah screw this video.
Lmao why do they go such lenght's to avoid saying crash
we not only stop breaches, we break them
LMAO CROWDSTRIKE
Interesting video with super annoying music :/
As a marshal myself, it's nice to see the teams acknowledge our work. This video gives a nice, clear view of these safety features. We are all trained on this at each race, but it's good to see nice high quality images, as we don't always have the opportunity to touch an actual F1 car (much of our training is on older or lower category chassis) until one "arrives in our lap" at a marshal post!
I’m sure the drivers are comforted by the thought that their security is in the hands of Crowdstrike.
Learning so much from these series! Keep it up!
Neat to learn about the buttons and lights in front of the halo cage. Cool!
This video about emergency stop buttons and flashing lights is brought to you by cybersecurity
Crowdstrike. A one word joke 😂
What camera was this shot with?
It seems to me counterproductive to name your safety series crowdstrike. The only thing that could make that worse is if it was a mustang race team or a group c rally team. (Or potentially a combination of the two)
To all the people commenting on CrowdStrike. The oopsie they had improved security. The only way to guarantee system security is turn the device off. Service availablity, well lets not get into that…
Why is „Signify“ not present on one shirt?
Ben "Robert Mugabe" Sulayem seems at the point of approving violence against the drivers to silence them. Since the final race is on his home turf in a place with little rule of law, I hope Mercedes will be getting the drivers extra outside security.
Arabalarin parasını çıkardım herhalde resmi olarak onlar parası ödenmiş araçlarım 😅
I sometimes wonder if a driver, say, like Jim Clark could see the massive technological advancements in F1 since his days, 55 years ago when cars were so simple, and teams like Lotus took 12 mechanics to each race, 6 for each driver, plus Chapman, and no-one else. Where pitlanes were next to the track without dividing walls, the paddock was collective for every team, and often work was done on a dirt patch. Imagine Jim Clark on a tour of a modern team's facility, and a race weekend. No doubt a mind blowing experience. Then to really get crazy… imagine Clark trying out a modern F1 car! No doubt he would need at least a week, maybe two, just to begin coming to terms with so much technology.
Malaysia: Petronas
Germany: AMG
So Petronas is the sponsor, and AMG is the brand.
Crowdstrike really proved the "Bad publicity is still publicity" to me. After that incident, I can never unsee their logo on the car.
Ah yes, Crowdstrike, safely and securely destroying PC's everywhere.
Provided by the same people who crashed Windows
Russel is a sneaky rat
I thought that F1 cars were already in the bleeding edge of technology, but this manages to blow my mind again. It's just amazing how people come up with ways to fit such things in the car that barely has a body while also working with the regulations in mind.
i dont trust crowdstrike with security
Sir Lewis Hamilton before these people try to humiliate you do not do the final race your ERA with this team is over you asked them to retire the car when the car was not performing they wanted you to 7 time world champion to look like a doofus leave with your head held high beginning a new chapter with Ferrari
Always thought the N was for a Netflix promotion
Shout to the American for saying garage the British way for the viewers.
My favourite Segment !
The safety features on the F1 car is amazing !
Even the marshals on the circuit are equally important too.
Looking forward to more segments about the F1 car, Mercedes !
Toto when he heard Lewis bailed: 'Nooo Lulu nooo this is sooo not right I'm sending an email did u receive it?'
I love this series so much
