wgat SIM racing dose, all kind of SIM´s is to give the driver the hours of track experience they need. Its the same for me as a RC Jet Plane "pilots" i use the seim during the winter to keeep the rust away deom mty stick skills and my finger and hands but also the memory of flying. Same it is for te drivers gaining the muscle memory and get that receptiv going that otherwise is very expensive to get on the track in racing. you stell need to be on the track training, but you will be better quicker if you can put in the hours in a really good SIM racing game. you need the mix of both, you cannot just be a good SIM racer and think you will beat Max on the track cuz you beat him in the SIM. So SIM is a very good tool for training.

And still people don't take Sim Racing seriously, they see it like a joke, but it's more. You just learn how to drive. Sim Racers who got into the car even say it's easier, cause you get more cues of what to do when and how the car handles. Of course it's demanding, but it isn't the jump people make it out to be.
