People don’t like change – BMW’s design langauge trajectory is aggresive and sales suffer as a result. Still, at least we have the B58 ✅
The interior looks like it belongs in a Chinese EV.
3.0l Turbocharged straight six engine, I say yes to that. However, it is not good looking. BMW need to sort out it's design asap.

New ugly design, cheap plastic, overdone interior lightning, no more M-style mirrors, 4 (!) tailpipes. The only thing I like are the black rims they offer on this model as well as the new panoramic roof. No thanks, I’ll keep my M40i LCI.

Awful looking car. All those flat surfaces and the boxy silhouette…that’s just not for me.
And this idea of luxury with minimalist interior design…hard pass for me. Fabric, really? And I could hear the flimsiness of that door handle. Awful, just awful.

I just got mine after having the previous model X3 M40i. Yes, materials inside should be better, but suspension and engine are much much better.
Having purchased my first BMW I find the the car outstanding. Its build quality , quietness are great. Mine is a base 30x with real leather and a couple of other options. Bmw' s incentives are great . Being a veteran I received a discount and the car was discounted. Purchased it for 48.5 k US. As far as the interior its very usable and being over 65 I find the tech easy. I added all the important stuff to the short cut menu. Power is awesome from the revised 2.0 b48 and is all I need in the congested US motorways. Fuel economy ? Currently on winter fuel and only 2k on the clock I'm getting around 25 city low 30's highway. If you buy a lower trim at a discounted price this car is very appealing . Think of buying another.
