10:00 im glad that you guys try to look past the fact that a car is EV when doing reviews and focus on OTHER aspects like driving dynamics, interior quality, overall daily usability, etc; i can imagine how hard it is to make an EV sound appealing especially to certain audiences, but its a relief to see journalism that doesnt just resort to straight up glazing lol

Great Car!, have one!. Also have the New Mk85R Golf, that is of course much faster. But as a daily, the Born is hard to beat 🙂

Disagee greatly over the shape, I find it is very attractive – if only because it doesn't try to look like an IC car. Certainly it doesn't look or feel high and narrow to me and no one else I know or any other review has ever said it did. With regard to the braking – if you drive in B“ mode constantly adusting the degree of regen by pressure on throttle pedal, then when you come to brake, ALL the brake pedal braking will be pad on disc / shoes on drum – so no mixed feel. Incidentally rear drum brakes are entirely sensible – cheaper, simpler handbrake arrangement and at the rear with regen braking so they're never going to be strained or need cooling like discs would provide, my wife's 4 year old IC Captur also has rear drums. It seems there is a lack of understanding of the merits of discs / drums. Incidentally my VZ has the Tornado wheels.
