I simply can't comprehend why the brand that I've been a massive enthusiast of for about 30 years does not have the balls to make cars like this – putting a high-rev, V10 engine into a saloon not much bigger than a Passat

I used to have an Alpine White E60 M5 with the 6 speed manual, very rare even in the US. I miss driving that car! Not maintaining it, but just driving it.

Brilliant video and one of my dream cars to be bought at the end of this year or beginning of next year. An icon of BMW M Power, BMW engineering, of course the engine has it's problems which is not great, but this car is like a unicorn together with the likes of Audi RS6 V10, Audi RS4 B7 V8, BMW M5 E39, BMW M3 E30, E46, E90

Wait how's the speedo se accurate? Most E60 M5 videos I've seen it differs alot more from the GPS…
For some reason a stock E60 M5 sounds like a Huracan but having the gated manual from the Gallardo
This is a good BMW and the V10 engine of it a piece of art as well as the interior. It drive like an angry beast of a machine. The manual gearbox also makes it rock and it is good with this kind of a gearbox

Schade, dass er bei 250 km/h abgeriegelt ist. Mit 500 PS wären sicherlich 300 km/h oder mehr drin.
