But Elon…
WHAT!
Would never trust that shit ever .
Sorry. Not interested.
How are you going to make small corrections on high speed?
bring this tech to the rest of the tesla car lineup please!
i do not approve this
Cool concept! Time to short
La CyberTruck es mi coche favorito
Nice you can steer with one hand. Leaves the other one free to point up in the air at a 45 degree angle
W0KE
I love Tesla, but what happens if it blows a fuse or there is a short in a wire and you lose control at 70mph?
Dumb question but by wire you mean like electrical wire/motors?
Um so your saying steering ratio is the difference? That's not the same as fbw and not?… You can still have a mechanically connected system with short throw…
Love it, and hope it makes its way to all Teslas.
Fire Elon and I will buy a CT tomorrow.
Nazism but with EVs
Тесла тянуть на грунте должен лучше всех…
a
Still get stuck in the snow
Do it at 60😂
i feel like it be really easy to accidentally roll this car over by doing that wheel by accident
Is the steering angle inversely dependent on the vehicle speed, as it should? You wouldn't want small angle changes in the steering resulting in large wheel angle when traveling at high speed on a free way for example.
Good job engineers! Now go make sure there's phone charging available in the Cybercab. It'll be massive problems if someone's phone dies without the ability to charge….. This is user's first principles guys.
But still can't beat the real truck
i remember driving non power steering. it was heavy af lol.
In my car if I lose all power to all systems I can still at least steer..
I fcking LOVE the CT
Cool
For the other Tesla-cars too, please!
What an incredible game changer, the Cybertuck drives like a dream becuase of steer by wire.
FUE UN PLACER CONTRIBUIR CON TODOS USTEDES GENTE 😎🔥
yeah… I see!
이렇게 혁신 적이면 뭐하나….테슬라 까는 것들이 더 많아…버거들 정신차려..중국한테 발리고 나서 후회 해도 소용없어.
I have a cybertruck and it has a major steering issue. After trump got elected, my cybertruck always seems to take the third reich
Super cool. Unless the truck is dead…
😂😂😂
What happens if you lose power too the steering wheel
Fix the input lagg
this does not really explain or show off steer-by-wire at all imo… the same behavior can still be done mechanically w/ an increased "gain" on the steering steering wheel and adding mechanical steering to the rear axle wheels as well.
what would be cool, and specific to steer-by-wire, would be seeing a variable gain steering, where at low speeds fine movements of the wheel equate to big steering (e.g. 3 point turns), but at high speeds the fine wheel movements give fine control of the vehicle's handling (e.g. highways/freeways)
You don't show the extreme steering lag though.
This was voted tech of the year by motortrend
Fix your CEO
Great technology.. ugly truck though..
but then you need to drive a Cyber Truck….
That’s cool and all but I can’t get a refund for FSD. It might be the future but not today.
After driving for a while I prefer the steer by wire, should've been in vehicles ages ago
It's cool seeing the inside of the vehicle for once. Very amusing to watch from the driver's point of view (PoW).
I've been in it several times and the turning feels easier than a regular car!
I still prefer Mechanical steering.
It is annoying how the stock is unrelated to the company itself
