Even after everything the state of California has done to try to harm them, Elon and Tesla still do the right thing.
As a Californian, I can honestly say that this is probably the best thing for California or any state for that matter. Especially if you’re fortunate enough to own a home and add your own power wall with solar. Decentralizing the grid is how you save lives and money from having to purchase it from other states to keep us from rolling black outs.

The Elon-inspired notion of solar canopies and on-site battery storage at every supercharger would sure go a long way to improving the Tesla ecosystem.
