6:53 Max threw away his 5th championship right here. All throughout the season his driving was above everyone and nearly perfect … except here. All other points lost from the championship contenders are typical errors from trying to get the best out of your car, being too optimistic with moves, failures from setup, strategy, or sheer bad luck. This is the only instance I can see where the three championship contenders purposefully threw away points.

The difference of respect as a driver is what separated Lando Norris from Oscar Piastri. The latter wasn't respected by his team and because of it he did not win the Championship after leading it for the longest time.
