when I was Oscars age I was fully in the grasps of alcoholism. formula racing has given me something to look forward to every weekend and I have now been sober since I was 24. thanks to McLaren and all the teams for the best distraction ever!!! much love from California!

Oscar is a great driver who, in just three years, has made monumental progress and still has a lot of room for improvement. His future looks bright, and I'm sure he'll become a multi-time world champion. I'm excited for next season; I can't wait to see all the amazing moments he'll give us on the track (especially since I need him to win in Australia). Oscar will always be my champion.
