      A colleauge ordered a Cupra born on a lease. While unloading it from the trailer to the delivery, the rear motor had a failure and had to be replaced. Replacement time was several months. Just saying, stay the hell away from the VW products.

      I own a Born non VZ. IN 3 years, i had 5 software update faliures, 2 separate AC compressors were changed under warranty, a new steering rack put on it , an SOS button module failed, 2 separate battery modules failed and were replaced under warranty, and now the battery heating does not work anymore after the last visit i had for the replacement of the second battery module, so it now takes 2 hours + to charge the battery because i am limited to about 20 kw/h charging (i now have just under 120 000 km with it), various software bugs and around 6 months spent in various service units. WORST CAR IN THE WORLD. If you think of owning one, DON'T … just RUN !!!! Worst car i have ever owned. List price for my car was 48 000 Euro in 2023. I will never buy any VW product for as long as i live. It's a joke.

      A good specced Cupra Born is a whopping 56k€ in Germany! For that money you almost get a Model 3 Performance that drives around the Cupra while it’s accelerating!

      Same for the interior quality, Cupra has A LOT of cheap plastic while Tesla has NO plastic. Cargo space is also a completely different level.

      So comparing the absolut base Tesla to the high-end Cupra is a strange comparison. Even the LR would have smashed the VZ on any given task!

      With the Cupra you will also always be stuck to the software that was installed during the buying. No new upgrade from version x.x to y.y, only x.y if lucky.

      But overall I don’t get the hate on EVs, they are far superior for most of the driver in the world. They start everywhere, every time during any climate. Norwegians love them for a reason and many other countries are following!

      Btw the new(er) model 3 (2025+) do have a Turn-signal-stalk.
      Also tesla has some other new Model 3's that are a bargin! Might wanna check em out

      The VW APP550 motor is one of the best electric motors on the market.
      And I like the quality and materials; they've paid attention to making sure that everything you normally touch feels good.

      What you don't touch is hard plastic, but it's pretty.
      You should try the Cupra Tavascan.

      The cupra looks so dull when you compare it to the Model 3. Its shame that Tesla ditched the performance RWD motor from the 2019-2020 Standard range that was way faster and more aggresive up to 70kmh

      A bit unfair noise comparison. The tesla was in the left harsh asphalt lane and the cupra in the right smooth lane. Great video anyways guys I think as everyday cars these are great.
