      I've owned a 2010 Toyota Corrola, 1997 4Runner, 2003 4Runner, and currently a 2006 Sequoia as my beater. I've always thought of Toyota being reliable.
      Now? I wouldn't buy any Toyota or Lexus for the next 5 years. I'd have to see the long term reliability, AND QUALITY.
      I'm so disappointed in Toyota.

      I personally believe that there was a generation of automotive engineers in the car industry that spent their working careers making/designing vehicles, and got good at it. Now all the experienced engineers are retired and the next generation doesn't have the knowledge or experience. I believe this is a factor to what's happening to Toyota.

      It’s a very heavy vehicle with should have been a V8. I haven’t been able to get the average mpg over 15. My understanding is that the turbos make the engine less reliable or require replacement themselves after 100,000 miles (give or take). The transmission seems to be a bit sloppy as well. My BMW’s transmission is flawless in comparison and that’s my biggest gripe this far.

      I appreciate my 08 GX470 too much to replace it with this. It isn't much of an upgrade even now. Sure, you get a big screen. I purchased an aftermarket one.

      I get to have the bullet proof V8. Toyota has signed on with everyone else to phase out the V8s with this lousy green deal agenda BS, thanks to the WEF and others. Next, the V6 will be gone, then the 4 banger. I'll keep my V8 thank you.

      Maybe one day I'll put a V8 in that 550. I know, I know, the V6 has more of this and that. Don't care.

      You buy these and you're buying into this climate agenda BS. CD used to be known as "the gas of life". Apparently that's changed recently.

      I have a better idea. Stop chopping down the rainforest and plant a #$cking tree.

      the only complaint I have is the trunk door sharp corners, I had a few times the trunk door came and hit me on the head . Those corners looks deadly , I am scared what would they do when they are angry at me.
