How did you mod the dashboard to be digital / new? Is it idrive 7 and how can it be compatible with m140i originally idrive 6? 😐

I owned a m240i for 5 years. Great car and you could tune the shit out of the b58. Got a US spec 24 Model 3 Performance a bit ago.

Ran it on the draggy recently. 90-95% SOC, insane mode. Ok back road, could be better.

0-100: 3.13
100-200: 7.61 (+3% slope) 7.37 (going down -3 slope)
1/8 mile: 7.04 @163.54
1/4 mile: 10.94 @199.83 (.05% slope. Had a 7.8 sec 100-200 there)

Still miss the MT and Akrapovic exhaust on the 240 though!

Sad part is that i30N with small tune is faster then 550hp M140i in nurgburgring.

Slow both 0-100 AND 100-200 my rs3 8p has about the same stats, 522hp and 700nm and I do a 2.84 0-100 and a 6.8 , 6.9 100-200. I get the 0-100 being bad because of rwd but the 100-200 time should be way faster. Car hasn't got 500hp nor 700nm.

500 horsepower is possible, but not if he doesn't have the TU HPFP fitted, and judging by the 100-200 times, it looks like he doesn't.

It's really strange how a 500hp+ M140i can do 0-100 km/h in 8 seconds, which is impressive, but when it's put up against a Cupra with a 2L engine, it gets completely destroyed. Why are these EA888 Gen 3/4 engines so HATED, yet they perform similarly to the RS3 in terms of horsepower? I love BMW and I'm even getting an M340i, but we have to acknowledge that some engines are just… better. I’m not biased; I’ll say it: N54 < N55 < S55 < B58 Gen 1 < EA888 Gen 3 < EA888 Gen 4 <<< B58 Gen 2 < S58.

Why is the dashboard different?

I am the only one hating such loud exhaust and pops? I am almost 40 so maybe it comes with age? 😀

Most of the time it doesnt add significant performance boost and it only makes the car unbearable for long drives, plus its kinda cringe?

I used to have stainless steel catback in my prelude 15 years ago, never modified exhaust again in any of the cars afterwards
