mama told us we were good kids and daddy us [Music] never were good kids remember asking both my mom and dad why we never travel to ex I I remember being on on musically now that’s it’s Tik Tok and you were so big there right it was such a big moment for you so how how did that impact your career and your music process and everything I think I’m a little less you could say I don’t have as much negative bias to social media but I mean it’s just a different way of reaching people you know you have radio you have TV you have like streaming services but you then also have places like Tik Tok Instagram Facebook and I mean uh I think it’s kind of funny to be a Tik Tok OG way back in the music hallidays and also I think it’s um yeah I don’t know I think when you work as a creative person when you work with art you have to just meet people where they are and incidentally a lot of people are on apps and phones and the internet and talking about uh authentica which is a festival that you’re you’re coming to have you ever been to a festival uh in in in Winter because this is a different a different like concept of Festival have you ever done that no the closest to it was a also an indoor Festival in Korea was one in October um and I think it’s fun to to switch the concept around yeah it’s like sometimes we’ve done these big outdoor concerts normally when artists do concerts they do them inside yeah and we chose to do them outside because it it sounds better um in my opinion I like a festival switching it and instead of making it only in the summer only outside switch it to the winter bring it inside um I think it’s it’s cool to do something new you know what my M said you know what she told me my mama said that it was okay said it was all right you had the time to to eat the food when you were here and will you have the time to eat a lot and explore when you’re in authentica I always find the time to eat some good food um I mean the the first thing is to get some pastry and some espresso I I’ll always have time to find some good lunch or good dinner depending when the concert is you’re going to go out and have some some good local food preferably like for me I love eating like cod codfish bakala oh which in Portugal you guys just do it different than we do in Denmark actually talking about Cod the festival is held in Braga which is a very famous city for having um a special type of card which is balawa Braga it’s a bra bragas card I suggest that I think you’re going like will we have um maybe any other surprises yeah we haven’t made anything yet okay but I mean right right now I’m also on uh I’m on leave we had we had another baby four weeks ago oh congratulations yeah so I’m trying to convince my wife to go with me to Portugal and then have like three days just me her and the little baby and then the two big girls can stay at home oh that’s so cool so hopefully I get to bring my wife and our little newborn baby which well in December not so newborn not so newborn yeah big world but we thought we were bigger pushing each other to the limits we were learning quick I made like this little game based on your song seven years what’s something that you did when you were seven that got you grounded yeah I I never got grounded I had very very modern modern parents I mean but then again I didn’t have my own room so grounding me would be really unfair to my sister what’s something that you tried when you were 11 years old that you don’t like to this day I remember we found some a friend’s house and we tried it which was a stupid thing to do um but I mean there’s a lot stuff you do as a kid or as a teenager that you only know 20 years later maybe was was a little up you know hey what’s something that you learn in your 20s that you’re going to take for Life travel oh yeah travel while you’re young travel even if you don’t have enough money travel with my job I get to still travel a lot um but often you know I only get to see an airport a restaurant a concert and then I’m I’m I’m back in the airport again or in a bus driving somewhere new so I just I would say to everyone travel where do you see yourself in 60 years when you’re 60 years old I mean when I’m 60 so I’m I’m I’m 36 now so in 24 years I hopefully I’m a uh I’m a happy grandfather and I’m just chilling with my kids and my grandkids and I still travel and I still eat good food and uh and I’m probably still a strong man that goes to the gym and shows my grand kids out to out to bench press 100 kilos and maybe a a family house in Portugal a family house in in Portugal by the sea I wouldn’t mind it oh yeah that would be really cool Lucas it was so nice talking to you and I think I learned a lot from you too I’m excited to to see you here in Portugal and thank you for taking the time to talk with oh I mean I was excited too once I was 7 years old my mama told me go make yourself some friends or you’ll be lonely once I was s years old [Music]
