Even if both would be same fun you should never forget, just a stage one tune for under 1k will give this gti atleast 350hp. For the cupra you have basically no options. You can do suspension and rims, thats about it.

I’ll take a somewhat dull iron block turbo 4 over awkward silence all day long. EV’s have a place but they aren’t the answer. Without artificial market manipulation they would barely exist at all because most people DON’T want them without cash on the hood.

Think about it. Even a deaf person would find an EV less visceral to drive without the tingling sensation of an engine coming through the steering wheel and seat.

We have a GR86 (waaaay better than a GTI as a drivers car) and a Born V2 for practical runaround second car (charged at 6.9p per kWh) and it’s a great combo.
