This is why they kid kicked Ricardo out cause he can match Max or beat him at times, sane as Carlos Saint did. But all they want is to pair Max with some mediocre teammate for what ? I think you know the answer

They need to just bam teamorders on overtaking teammates. They can learn so much about eachothers driving style. Plus i think drivers should fight for their points instead of just getting them for free.

This shows that there was a few season in Ricciardo’s career where imo he was world champion class. He lost form with age pretty quickly I think. Whether he could win a championship battle is one thing. But I believe if he had the equipment from 2014 to 2018 he could have at least challenged the very best F1 had to offer for it.
