I used to pass a brand new Dino every morning on the way to school in the early 70s. It was a gift from a local supermarket owner to his son and he parked it in the same place every morning. 😁😁
So, it's a 246, not a 206, but it's a lovely car all the same.
❤️❤️
please ffs get rid of the dopey subtitles
"You never have to remember the truth" is what makes wonderful stories like this so enjoyable and memorable.
An illustration of 'keeping the faith' for, most essentially, an entire adult lifetime. This illustration as affirmation that the Dino transcends the individual driver. The only 'crime' is when we get to an age where we need to give up driving and yet there is comfort and calm temper in handing down to a close family member.
Gorgeous
The 206 had an alloy body, the later 246 had a larger motor but a steel body.
The 206 is an absolute classic.
🥹❤
Dopo più di 50 anni questo bolide è ancora splendido, una forma avveniristica, bellissima, attuale,il sogno di molti collezionisti!❤❤❤❤
The 206 is beautiful, rare. I prefer the 246 but the 206 is more valuable. Lovely and important. This particular Dino is in good hands with this gentleman.
I used to see lots of them around the UK southern counties, (relatively speaking). But not for many years. Where are they all?
This is what it's all about: proof, as if it were needed, that cars for many of us are tear-jerking pieces of art. And the fact he gets to hand it to his some in good time is magnificent!
The cars perfect
Are the Ferrari badges and “prancing horse” on the front grill original to the vehicle? I thought there was no Ferrari badging in these vehicles?
Yes, this is one of Ferrari's masterpieces, and maybe the last from that overall era; I'd argue that 1970s Ferraris deviated from the elegance and gracefulness of their predecessors. Great video! 😀
I don't believe it hasn't been restored. It looks new, not a single ding or scratch in the paint…
This is a RHD example. Does anyone know how many of these RHD examples were produced in total ?
A very nice story of a father handing this car over to his son. Sadly, Enzo lost his son DIno to illness but Dino is immortalized by this amazing and beautiful car.
A real gent. The car is like brand new. Amazing. The only thing more beautiful than his Dino 206 is his cream coat Golden Retriever at 1:10.
That car was lucky you bought. To think you can leave it to your son who will love it as much as you did.
Its timeless beauty. For me the alfa disco volante is also ap there
Perfection 🔝
Exceptional passion rightfully bestowed.
Ferrari has the talent, the budget, and the history. What they need now is clarity, consistency, and courage in decision-making.
Thank you. What a beautiful story – and yes, one of the most perfect looking cars ever. Lucky Piers! And that must be some 'mechanical sympathy' – all original after so many years – exactly what one might expect from a helicopter pilot! Superb.
A most heartwarming "tale". I've always loved the Dino.
