      People are still saying "no" to the touch/haptics/infotainment on these in 2025? I bought my MK8 R in 2023 and never had an issue with any of it. Early models (2021/2022) had infotainment software issues (now resolved), but it was also people still adjusting to the big differences coming from MK7's.

      The front bumper/facia of the MK8 R has always been garbage. The bottom left and right corners where there are the accents that seem incomplete look terrible and out of place. It looked a little bit better on the MK8 clubsport. There are SIX versions of the front bumper/facia three for the MK8 and three for the MK8.5, being that there is the GTI, R, and clubsport. And basically none of those facia are all that good. The VW design team can’t make a good looking facia for this damn generation 8 Golf. The engine we know is legendary.

      For people who think 310 km per hour is impressive… No. It's the fact that they hacked this unhackable gearbox. This is a game changer for every VAG DSG DQ381 2022+ owner. The standard software is crap.
